I started making cardboard sculpture accidentally – when I saw the exciting shapes that resulted from my attempts to crush old pizza boxes! One thing led to another, and I decided to create a performance called The Art of Cardboard. Of course, I needed lots of examples of cardboard art for this performance! So, I made dozens and dozens of cardboard sculptures. I had fun making the sculptures and even more fun photographing them with little images of myself in order to fool everyone about the size of my sculptures. Did I fool you?
