Back in the early nineties, I was given a Polaroid camera. I had never been interested in photography, but this device captured my heart! It was so easy to use and the resulting photo had such depth and character with its thick emulsion and layered feeling. Consequently, I started taking photos all the time. I loved combining them into grids that were aesthetically pleasing and/or mysterious and thought-provoking.
