This is one of the earliest pieces in my Women Series. For this body of work, created in the late nineties, I cut up posters of artworks by MEN that depicted WOMEN. After arranging key parts of the image into a grid, I allowed my imagination to “fill in the blanks” with a text that reflected my reaction to the woman on view. In many cases my words are humorous, and I hope, thought-provoking, too.
