For the month of February 2013, I presented The Letter Project — every single day — from 1 to 3pm at The Black Cow Coffee Company in Croton on Hudson, NY.   I brought note cards, post cards, stationery, pens, and postage stamps.  I invited people to take what they wished, as long as they promised to write to someone!  By the end of the month, I had interacted with more than 250 people, each of whom sent out AT LEAST one missive.  This was one of my most gratifying performances!  I have received positive feedback from both the letter writers and the recipients.  I also enjoyed the fact that the press was very interested in this project: two articles in The Gazette, a photo and blurb in the NYTIMES, and a photo and blurb in WAG.  Very cool, indeed.
