What you see is . . . surprising! After making designs using embroidery thread on 4 x 6 inch notecards, I asked a friend to take photographs of each little work. Then, I had the photos enlarged to 18 x 24 inch prints. These prints — not the original, hand-made pieces — are the final artworks. They reference the large, macho abstract paintings of Pollock and Brice Marden and the small craftwork of anonymous women everywhere.
